A guide to setting up your Avatar & Signature! Options

Ok i know alot of you have been wondering how to do this, i had forgotten but whilst helping another player i figured out how to do it, so while i remember i thought i'd post it here.

Ok when u find an image you want that isnt a breach of the forum/game rules (ie inappropriate / distasteful etc)
you'll need to resize the image. best way to do it i think

• Go to imageshack/photobucket
• browse to locate your image
• select resize the image to thumbnail size then click upload
• copy the direct link which shows the image.
• then log onto the GOT forums
• go to the top and select my controls
• on left hand panel of next screen click on edit avatar settings
• on this screen look at the link that says 'URL to an online image' paste the direct link you copied earlier here
• then click on update avatar.

Your avatar must be no bigger than 90 pixels by 90 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 50 KB. The following file types are allowed: gif,jpg,jpeg,png


All being well your image should now be displayed next to your name.

Setting up your Signature may be a little more difficult than Avatar, so here's a guide on how to do so:

Step One:
Go to My Controls.

Step Two:
Look to the left of your screen. You will see several different menu options. Once there, click Edit Signature

Step Three:
Add images, texts, and whatever you like to it, though you signature must be appropriate for all ages and must not be oversized. If your signature is not appropriate and/or contains anything that may go against our forum rules, MODs have the right to remove your signature without any questioning.
