A guide to setting up your Avatar & Signature!

Ok i know alot of you have been wondering how to do this, i had forgotten but whilst helping another player i figured out how to do it, so while i remember i thought i'd post it here.

Ok when u find an image you want that isnt a breach of the forum/game rules (ie inappropriate / distasteful etc)
you'll need to resize the image. best way to do it i think

• Go to imageshack/photobucket
• browse to locate your image
• select resize the image to thumbnail size then click upload
• copy the direct link which shows the image.
• then log onto the GOT forums
• go to the top and select my controls
• on left hand panel of next screen click on edit avatar settings
• on this screen look at the link that says 'URL to an online image' paste the direct link you copied earlier here
• then click on update avatar.

Your avatar must be no bigger than 90 pixels by 90 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 50 KB. The following file types are allowed: gif,jpg,jpeg,png


All being well your image should now be displayed next to your name.

GOT LOTTO

Ok based on the feedback recevied from the event poll.

This is how the event is going to work:

* Players send 3000 game gold to GOTLOTTO as entrance price to the event.
* Limited to one entry per account.
* Players can use multiple accts to enter.
* Please state if you would prefer 5 gems or 10,000 game gold if you are one of the winners.

Money is being collected now on the above acct. Do not send money anywhere else as it will not give you entry to the lotto! I will post a list of entrants below each week with a corresponding number. The first lotto draw will take place on Sunday 30th August and weekly thereafter. (unless i post otherwise)

On the 30 Aug i will use an online randomiser to select 4 winners. Depending on the prize you specified you will either receive gems or gold. Winners will be posted in forum after the draw and prizes issued as soon as possible.

Once you have paid your lotto entrance money there will be no refunds given. So please be sure you want to enter and can afford the 3000 incase you are unsuccessful.

Any remaining gold after lotto will be used to help new players/ fund and shortfull in future lotto's.


The success of this event depends on people knowing it exists and taking part. So please tell your friends.

NEW EVENT IDEA

Ok this is a trial event but the basic idea of this :

Players send 3000 game gold to GOTLOTTO as entrance price to the event. Limited to one entry per account.



On a Sunday (time may vary) Winners will be selected from all who paid.
Depending on what the votes produce the prize with either be 5 gems to each winner or a % of the total amount collected.





This suggestion will go ahead as it is something im setting up - does NOT depend on an update *YAY*
