New way to earn gems

We've added a new way to earn gems by completing surveys or offers.

We also have some more game related updates coming that we're testing on the beta server now.

Fort Changes

We recently made some fort changes. a MINORITY of players were causing problems exploiting the system by having no defenders at their base.

We also had problems with people creating "dummy" accounts that they then used to attack and steal resources.

The bottom line is that if you expect to be at the top of the scoring charts it won't be easy. That's just how it is - with anything. Being at the top is not easy.

First off, I want to make one thing clear - the use of a dummy account is cheating and we'll simply ban your main accounts and any alternate accounts. Any account used to feed your main account or "grief" other accounts is against the rules and you'll be banned. So expect to see lots of bans if this continues. We log all attacks.

We are NOT DONE with the changes. We're making a few extra changes to make things a bit more fair.

1) Limit who you can attack based on your player rank. e.g. a new player won't be able to attack the top player.
2) Each player will have a list of recent players who they attacked viewable by anyone.
3) There will be a report of players in your level range who you can attack.
4) We will most likely have rounds that end monthly and the winners will be listed similar to the beta round list. (This is just for pure scoring reasons and you won't have to start over).

General Feedback Guidelines

We welcome constructive feedback and discussion. If you have game suggestions, feel free to post in the Game Suggestion forums. If you wish to inspire discussion with the community, feel free to do so.

We make decisions based on what we feel will be the best possible additions and changes to the game possible. We'd love to have all the time in the world to implement every possible idea that we have, but we don't, so we need to look at attainable and realistic goals to reach so that we can continue to give everyone the best possible all-around fun time we can.

All mods are volunteers and are closely monitored with their actions logged.

Any posts that are rants or generally complaining that have no constructive value will be deleted and possibly given a temporary ban from the GOT forums, depending upon severity. If a player is found circumventing a suspension/ban such as posting on another account or having someone post on your behalf they will be permanently banned from posting on the GOT forums and possibly in game.

Latest updates

We've made some changes to the www.godsoftime.com server. If you are having any problems please clear your browser cache. If you don't know how, you can either Google it or just reboot your computer.

1) When you enter a battle it's now "locked" and only your other group members can join.

2) When you see monsters with a lock on them it means it's someone else is fighting that monster and you won't be able to (unless you are in their group)

3) There are links to food items at the bottom of the screen. Food items are free for now. They won't be for very long.

4) There are new animation effects in battles.

5) If you are having other issues please report them in the support forum.

6) The server will be down every morning at 7am EST for about 5-10 minutes for restarts and quick maintenance.

7) People with Firewall or proxy issues who couldn't play in the past have a much better chance at playing now.

8) People should update on the screen much faster now - it's easier to see where they are going.
